Set on our mid-height heel, Aline is the little sister of our Alia sandal. Its modern silhouette is designed without compromising on comfort: the flexible wooden sole provides comfort and flexibility with every step. The crossover leather straps also offer excellent everyday support, comfortably wrapping the foot through to the toes.

Available in black or tan leather, the upper pairs beautifully with the natural look of the wooden sole, creating a sophisticated and timeless combination for summer. The Aline sandals look just as elegant with a skirt or dress as they do with linen trousers or jeans. They can also be customised to suit your personal style.

In keeping with our commitment to protecting natural resources, our shoes are delivered in a recycled and recyclable kraft cardboard box. Each pair is made to order and handcrafted in our workshop near Nantes, France, helping to preserve local employment and traditional French shoemaking expertise.

This style fits true to size, so we recommend choosing your usual shoe size. However, if you are often between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one. If needed, you can consult our size guide here. The Aline sandal is made with our reference 059 flexible wooden sole.

• Upper and lining: bovine leather with a suede finish or vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from LWG-certified Italian tanneries

• Colours: black or tan. Additional colours are available through the “Customise” option.

• Buckle: steel or gold finish, sourced from Italy

• Sole: flexible wooden sole with a brown finish. The wood comes from eco-certified forests.

To keep your Aline leather sandals looking their best for as long as possible, follow these care recommendations:

• Vegetable-tanned leather upper: this leather is tanned without solvents or chrome. It naturally develops a beautiful patina over time, giving each pair its own unique character. Clean it with a high-quality leather wax and a soft cloth. In the event of water marks, we recommend lightly dampening the entire surface before applying leather wax once dry.

• Suede leather upper: clean gently using a soft suede brush. Protective and restoring suede-care products can also be used to help preserve the leather over time.

• Wooden sole: clean simply with a sponge and soapy water. The wood can also be lightly sanded to remove marks and dirt. After sanding, you may apply a furniture wax in a shade close to the colour of the sole to restore its shine and finish.
