The BOSABO clog, a family story spanning 5 generations

The very first clogs from our French brand were created in the expert hands of Émile Audouin in 1890. Made exclusively of wood, they were already shaped, hollowed out, and polished by hand, thus beginning a transgenerational artisanal tradition in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region.

In the 1950s and 1960s, his grandson Joseph demonstrated innovation: he combined a wooden sole with an authentic leather upper. Traditional clogs thus gained in elegance and were now found on the feet of city dwellers.

For over 135 years, BOSABO has focused as much on the quality as on the creativity of its 100% French-designed clogs. With over 100 materials and colors per season, our flat and heeled shoes are sure to suit every style!
